אני חושב שאחרי אימון מסכם , שהיה ברמה מאוד גבוהה עם המון אנרגיות
הגיע הזמן לכתוב פה משהו לשתף את הקהילה, טוב נו וגם כי דורי מציק לי והשעה עכשיו 1 בלילה ואני חצי מסטול (לא לא מסמים ילדים סמים זה אסור אלא ממשחק אולטימייט מטורף)

אז ככה אחרי הרבה חודשים של ציפיה ואימונים מפרכים ללא ויתורים מצד אלי ועופר והרבה זיעה שנשפכה על הדשא הירוק של ראשון לציון, אנחנו מוכנים לעלות על הטיסה ביום שלישי בלילה לקופנהגן בדנמרק לטורניר ענק שהרבה מגדירים אותו כמונדיאל של קהילת הפריסבי האירופאית, קיבלנו Wild Card לבוא ולייצג את ישראל מבין 32 קבוצות open שמגיעות מ-14 מדינות שונות, לפני תחילת הטורניר אנחנו מדורגים במקום ה- 28 והשאיפה היא לעלות משם למעלה כמה שאפשר כמובן שאנו יודעים שיהיה קשה והחוויה תהיה שווה הכל ואני בטוח שכולם כמוני הולכין לתת 253 אחוז על המגרש ומחוצה לו,

Well, i´m here with Oren in the train station in Copenhagen, Denmark.

After getting up yesterday at 2AM we (Oren, Rene, Moshe Gusman, Moshe Rodes, Eliav, Aron, Hana, Itamar and muself) traveled to Budapest, Hungary.

I spent most of the day toilet touring Budapest, and then we got to a flight afternoon here to Copenhagen.

We are all very exited and will try to do our best in the games that are starting tomorrow afternoon (6PM Isarael time). Hope we´ll be OK.

חן, נגד מי המשחק? מה הסדר משחקים, כי באתר של האליפות לא היה כתוב, מאיזה מדינות, עניינים... פרט...ממש מעניין לדעת! בהצלחה ממש !!!! :):)

קיבלתי כמה SMS מחן על המשחקים הראשונים.

אז משחק ראשון הפסדנו 13-6 לקבוצה מפינלנד
ומשחק שני היה מאוד קרוב 13-12 לקבוצת LOOKFLY (שזו חברה של ציוד אולטימייט)

אנחנו מאחלים המשך טורניר מעולה ותביאו לנו כמה נצחונות

All an all, we lost 6 games, out of which 3 by one point (which is very annoying).
We won one game.

We finished 28 out of 32 teams, played hard as a team and learned a lot about ultimate.

These turnaments are great fun.
You should all try to work yourselves up to these kinds of events. This was very intense. My body hurts...

After a lot of sun, a few drops of rain, some wind, 4 parties, 1300 meals of
pasta, 25 hours of bus shuttles and of course 2,5 days of bone hard ultimate
- we got a final standings for the 4th edtion of Wonderful Copenhagen
Ultimare.

And in the end it was brand new, but also very much as usual.

Three times WCU winners Skogshyddan got a rough ride with a win in the late
exhibition game vs Brooklyn Ultimate Friday evening, then off to sleep and
rise and shine early in the morning for an 9 o'clock game vs Clapham. All
this effort just to lose. Picking it up vs fellow countrymen Viksjצfors with
a 13-11 win - putting them on track to the final. And once there, a rematch
vs Clapham who made the finals after a win over local rivals Fire Of London.
The final was a windy-zony-biz with a lot of drops and bad throws. In the
end Skogs mastered the wind a little better, final score 11-8.

In the women division Iceni got to the second pool play to play Bliss and
Jinx for one of the semi final spots. After losing out to Bliss in the first
game, the win over European Champions Jinx was just what was needed to reach
the semis. All three teams traded wins within the pool, so placement was
decided after score differential. Result: Three timers WCU champ Bliss as
no3 in the pool and missing out on the semi. In the other pool Espoo
Ultimare moved up to the semis after comfortable wins over Yaka (FR) and
Tequila Boom Boom. So we were to se a new winner in the women final. And the
name is Iceni after 14-7. Well done and congratulations to the lot on the
moon!

Many are not mentioned here. But I would like to mention young guns
Karhukopia (FI) and Freespeed (CH) for massive leaps in seed. Karhukopia,
seeded 14, started out by sendiding danish pride Ragnarok to the back door
qualifers - and a hard 4 game Saturday - after a tight 12-11 in the first
game. The Finns eventually ended up as no 6 - after Raganrok got the revenge
in the place for 5th!

Freespeed entered as seed 11th after a promising Paganello. Once in
Copenhagen they mastered the old top names one by one: SOS, Clapham,
Ultimate Vibration, Fire Of London and finally Mir San Zamperl in the
quarters. Skogs prooved too strong in the semi, but Freespeed got a second
win over Fire in the bronze game. Impressive climb and an impressive list of
wins!

The spirit was awarded to Fire Of London in open with 93,6% (out of max
100%) and women winners Iceni with 94,3%. Both teams prooved kick ass
ultiamte AND excellent spirit can be combined.

Finally, and on behalf of the +70 person staff team I wish to express our
gratitude to have the possibility as act as hosts to all the teams coming to
Wonderful Copenhagen Ultimate. Thank you all for coming and beeing a part of
this 3 day party!

Extra thank you to Kielstock who entered on very short notice after a pull
out.

כל הכבוד... אני אישית חושב שלמרות הכל הם שיחקו טורניר מעולה... מקום 28 בהשוואה לרמה זה מקום מעולה... כל הכבוד להוליס'... גאים בכם !!!!!

אז ככה..
לקח לי כמה ימים להתאושש ולחזור לשגרת היום שלי (לקום ב 12 לרבוץ 4 ואז לעשות את עצמי לומד - ואז שוב לצאת לשתות וחוזר חלילה)
מישהו פעם כתב "אין לי מילים לתאר את האושר הזה..."
והוא באמת ידע על מה הוא מדבר, 3 ימים ועוד ערב אחד של חוויה מדהימה עם אנשים מדהימים
ואווירה מטורפת, אני חושב שיסכימו איתי האחרים שההליכה הראשונה מהאוטבוס למגרש ואחרי הסיבוב שנגלו לעינינו 12 מגרשי אולטימייט 3 אוהלים גדולים ו 32 קבוצות בכל הצבעים על הדשא הענק הייתה אחד הרגעים המדהימים של הטורניר הזה ומשם הכל רק השתפר .
אני לא אחזור ואפרט על המשחקים כי את זה כבר עשו לפני אני רק יודע שאנחנו והכוונה היא לכל הקבוצה נתנו 159 אחוז מכל מה שהיה לנו ובאמת הראנו יכולת משחק טובה ורוח לחימה לא וויתרנו עד שהמשחק נגמר, אני חושב שהמשחק שהכי השאיר עלי רושם היה נגד הגרמנים - הובילו עלינו 11-5 (משחק עד 13) ואח"כ 12-7 לא וויתרנו השוונו את התוצאה ל12 -12 וחטפנו גול איך תמיד אומרים בכדורגל "לא מחוייב מהמציאות" , אבל אין מה לעשות ככה זה בספורט אחרי המשחק הזה כולנו היינו מותשים וחלקנו פצועים (אלי נתן משחק אדיר MVP לדעתי ) והכי חשוב בסוף בסוף נשארנו עם חיוך על הפנים כי למרות ההפסד היינו קרובים ונתנו את הנשמה והside line בכל נקודה היה שותף למשחק.
ילדים יש לי רק עוד דבר אחד להגיד - אם אתם רוצים ללמוד משהו בעולם האולטימייט עשו לעצמכם טובה ותתחילו לחסוך לטובת טורנירים כאלו ואחרים זה שווה כל אגורה וכל רגע.

בקרוב אני מקווה שנעלה תמונות וכמה סרטונים שצילמנו .
לסיכום - סה"כ 6 כמעט 7 ימים מטורפים עם אנשים אדירים ואני לא אתחיל לפרט את כולכם אבל כל אחד מכם עם הייחוד שלו ומה שהוא הביא לקבוצה חוויה שאני לא אפסיק לדבר עליה (ואתם כולכם יודעים כמה אני מדבר) ואני רק מקווה שיהיו עוד טורנירים כאלו בדרך כי חברה ראינו
בעיניים של בגרמנים - "הם מפחדים" ויש לנו פוטנציאל אדיר פה שוב תודה לכל מי שלקח חלק בארוע הזה ברמה זאת או אחרת ונתראה על הירוק!!!!!
